If you ever feel guilty taking time for yourself and resting, DON’T. Rest is absolutely necessary to recharge, and see things from a fresh perspective.

I just spent a week away with my husband at a charming cottage in Carmel-by-the-sea. Less screen time and more walks at the beach was a long overdue break.

Now I’m home, rested and inspired to get back to design. The dishes, laundry, emails, etc. will all be there. You can’t run on an empty tank, so prioritize building rest into your schedule, however that looks for you.🖤
